You see how sincere our leaders are when they readily admit their faults immediately and come forward with a remedy and not make silly excuses playing the blame game everytime. But sad to say, they doesn’t seem to be responsible for their statements or actions even though they have been in power for so long and that they should learn a thing or two from the NEW president Obama:
“I don’t want to send a message to the American people that there are two sets of standards, one for powerful people, and one for ordinary folks who are working every day and paying their taxes,” Obama said in an interview with CNN.
“I think this was a mistake. I think I screwed up. And, you know, I take responsibility for it and we’re going to make sure we fix it so it doesn’t happen again.“

He hired Tim Geithner, a Wall Street scumbag who cheated on his taxes. And make no mistake; he still wanted Daschle, even after finding out he was a tax cheat as well. Low standards or poor judgment?
I say a good mixture of both.
rjjrdq, i guess he’s out to find out how far he can get trying to appoint Daschle. Luckily for the americans, he didn’t get too far. Here in Malaysia, even a politician whose involvement in smuggling cash still gets to be appointed in the cabinet. What a joke, at the expense of the nation’s reputation. That’s just the tip of the iceberg!
