At 10.00 a.m. this morning Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim was charged in the KL Session Court No.1 at Jalan Duta. The judge is Puan S M Komathy Suppiah. The DPP opposed bail for Dato’ Seri but the judge granted bail on personal bond of RM20,000.
Anwar was charged with having committed sodomy on Saiful under section 337B of the Penal Code on July 26 between 3.01pm and 4.30pm at Unit 11-5-1 Desa Damansara Condo in Bukit Damansara, Kuala Lumpur.Mention date has been fixed for 10 September 2008
